A Thanksgiving Post
I guess thanksgiving could not come at a better time (maybe an even later part of the year…) as I am just a couple of weeks away from graduating from the program I came to the United States for and I will be flying off in about a month. As I prepare to leave and I start to reminisce the memories that I have had here, I can’t help but be thankful for this experience.
Although we do not celebrate thanksgiving back home in Singapore, I must say that just being in the United States does remind me of my family back home. While everyone has flown back to their family in which ever cities they are, I am here in Philadelphia but I know that I will be home soon.
So let’s see what I am thankful for..
I am thankful for the experience and opportunity to come to the United States for 1 full year to work for a start-up company, which turned out to be an even greater experience because I got “laid off” from my first company.
