Network Marketing Is All About Sales.




If you’ve been in network marketing or have been approached to join the industry, you may have been told that no SALES is involved. Well, let me correct your thinking once again… it is all about SALES!

In fact! You are marketing and selling the best product in the world. No other company offers your product, it’s one of a kind. It is most probably going to bring you in the most amount of money… Do you follow me? Every company that you go to is going to tell you they are the best, that they have the best product. The truth is, it’s TRUE!

I’ll tell you a secret… I know I’ve found the best product, and I am very sure you have also found it. Would you like to know more about it? There’s only one of it in this world, and each person who buys it is assured that there is no other. By now, you might be thinking what this product and it simple spells Y-O-U!

Yes! That’s right! Network marketing is all about selling YOU! Think about the first time you joined up with a business opportunity. Did you join because the company had the best product, the best compensation plan or because you believed that your up-line will guide you to succeed in achieving the goals that you have in life? Most people get so caught up in thinking that they need to offer the best product, best compensation plan and to show that no other competitor can outshine them. It doesn’t matter whether another company has the same product you are offering, or even if your company’s compensation or payment plan is no better, you have already been given the greatest gift you could have in this life… which is YOU!

There is never going to be another you in this planet, now or in the future. Network marketing is a leadership business and people buy into you only if they believe that you can lead them to where they want to go in their lives. Would you join up with someone who is not confident even of themselves? Would that give you the assurance that they will help you achieve your goals in life? I am very sure not!

Network marketing is all about SALES. You are selling the person that you are, selling to people that your time is worth and you can show them how to get to the next stage in life. Many people quit this industry not because their companies do not offer excellent products or have a bad compensation plan. If it helped the top leaders achieve lots of success, why not them right? The fact is, they have been blinded by the fact that it is ALL about the company and product and not about them.

Remember, you are in network marketing. It is a people and leadership business. People follow you because they trust in your abilities. Are you chasing people and looking desperate for them to join your business? Or are you holding up your posture and showing that you only take them into your business because they are worth your time and effort. You can choose either way to grow your business, but I’m very sure the latter will get you much further than the first.

If you are reading this, I do hope that this post has helped you to believe that you are indeed marketing the best product this world could offer. Most importantly, begin investing time and money on yourself, building to become a better person each day. You are only earn as much as you are worth, if you are not building up on your self-worth, you will never be worth much. Believe that you can help others out there believe in themselves too.

    One point I like what you have said is that many people keep thinking that they don’t have the best product to sell, or the best compensation plan to work in. But little did they know that it is about them, it is about how they are selling… Themselves :)

    Absolutely right on with this post, Darren! You know, my first few years in network marketing, I was in college and had success through home parties because I loved what I was doing and people felt that. After I stopped doing those parties, I suddenly felt like I couldn’t continue to succeed because I had to be sales-y and that wasn’t me. I was a personal trainer at the time, and I remember my mom saying to me, Beth, every single day as a trainer, you are doing sales. You are selling YOURSELF. Your knowledge, personality….your ability to get your clients where they want to be. And that is EXACTLY what network marketing is! That was when it really clicked for me. It’s such an important message to get. Thanks for sharing it!
