So what does cupcakes have in common with MLM success? Well.. I was chatting with my friend earlier and I asked her to give me a topic to blog about and she went “cupcakes!” So I guess I’m taking a tiny challenge here to figure out what cupcakes have in common with MLM success! Feel free to tell me if you have anything interesting to add!

Caution: I have never baked in my life before so if I get some baking concepts wrong… please forgive me!

Cupcakes And MLM Success – Ingredients

If we want to bake cupcakes, you are going to need the right mix of ingredients. I would say that baking is a science and would very much say that to achieve MLM success is also  a science. Assuming you do not have a cookbook and you are trying to bake the “perfect cupcakes”, you will have to go through trial and error just to find the perfect mixture. Baking requires that you have each and every single ingredient in the right proportions – An imbalance of ingredients may give you something different.

Just like having your own home-based business, if you do not have a mentor to guide you, you will most likely have to go through a tedious process of finding out what works best for you. Maybe in terms of MLM Lead Generation, you have to find out which strategy works best for you – Is it going to be SEO, Facebook, article marketing, paid media. You will never know what interests you the most unless you go out and test it to see what brings you the best results and you are most comfortable with.

However, there is an underlying tip here. If you have a mentor, just like a cookbook, you will be able to avoid the hassle of taking up most of your time to find out what works best, and what doesn’t. Having a mentor shortens your learning curve and helps you to achieve MLM success much faster.

Cupcakes And MLM Success – Baking

So we are done preparing our ingredients for the cupcake, and we have found that perfect recipe. Now we have to bake them! Baking cupcakes requires that you wait for them to be cooked. In addition to that, you also need to bake them at the right temperature if you want them to taste perfect.

Likewise in achieving MLM success, most people who get started online expect their “cupcakes” to be done when all they have accomplished is mixing the ingredients! Would you eat raw flour with eggs? I know I wouldn’t and that’s the same thing! MLM success requires that you be patient, and that you wait for that time where you will experience the success you desire.

In addition, if you bake it at a really low temperature, the cupcakes will never get baked or they will take a really long time. This shows the amount of effort that you have to put into your business. The more “heat” and energy you can put, the faster you will achieve MLM success. On the flip side, if you expend too much energy without resting, you will end up like an exploded cupcake (or something like that)!

So now the perfect cupcakes are done and they smell really great! What do you do now? Wait for them to cool down and then start eating them and sharing it with your friends. Achieving MLM success is just like this, after all the hard work and effort you have put in, you will realize the fruits of your labor.
