What The Top 50 MLM Blogs Contest Has Taught Me

If you haven’t already known, I recently participated in the Top 50 MLM blogs contest and I got 22nd place! I also wrote a post on Where To Find The Best Network Marketing Blogs? during that period. Of course, the reason why I am sharing this information with you is not because I wish to boast, but rather to share the lessons that I picked up from the Top 50 MLM blogs contest. Firstly, I am definitely very honored to be recognized as one of the top bloggers in this industry, and I definitely could not have done it without all those people who supported me during the past couple of weeks.

So let’s get down to the lessons I picked up from the Top 50 MLM Blogs contest!

Top 50 MLM Blogs Contest Lesson #1

Despite having achieved results in the contest, I know that I can do better and that I have a long way to go to helping more people. Monsters like Ray Higdon got over 500 votes, while I got over 50! Given that Ray is also one of the most respected leaders in this industry today, I can safely say that I will have to be influencing more people if I wish to achieve the success he has and helping more people.

The great thing about the Top 50 MLM blogs contest is that it also shows you how much reach you currently have in this industry, and I am very glad that people know me and read my blog. I always aim to post only valuable content so that my readers can come back again and gain more knowledge for their business to apply.

Top 50 MLM Blogs Contest Lesson #2

Engagement is one of the key ways to succeed and I definitely have to engage more people in this industry. Engaging means reaching more people, which leads back to lesson 1 that I picked up from the Top 50 MLM Blogs contest. Engagement also means keeping in touch with the people that you currently have formed relationships with or you may lose touch over time.

Therefore, I have to involved with engaging more people more regularly if I wish to achieve more success in this industry and help more people.

Top 50 MLM Blogs Contest Lesson #3

Now with that being said, I got disappointed during the contest because there were a few individuals who were trying to get more “votes” for themselves by outsourcing to comment and vote for them as “different” people. Yes, the Top 50 MLM Blogs contest is definitely a very prestigious contest as it signifies who are the upcoming stars in the industry, and who are the active bloggers.

It is sad to see that people would actually stoop to such methods to try and win the contest and gain “fame” for themselves. The truth is that the results of the contest is not going to help you with your MLM business, but rather it is a measure of the success you currently have with it. If you are not getting genuine votes, then you will try to find ways to cheat people in this industry. This will definitely not help with your reputation and you always want to operate your business on a honest level.

With that being said, I definitely have a long way to go in helping more people, and being a more engaging blogger. This past year has been a great year, but I can only go up from here or my efforts would have gone down the drain. Once again, I thank all those who voted me, and I wish to have more people vote for me next year for the Top 50 MLM Blogs contest.
