I am going to be discussing a really serious topic today and why network marketing may have met its doom. This industry is facing a crisis in this day and age, and I hope that you, whoever you are, reading this right now will do something to save it. The grim reaper is here to end this industry and you might be asking why network marketing has met its doom.

Why Network Marketing May Have Met Its Doom.

Have you noticed how many people in this industry need help? How many people out there who get involved in network marketing and they start pushing their opportunity to everyone assuming that EVERYONE wants what they have to offer? Even if you were in some other industry, have you seen everyone buy everything a company has to offer? Probably not. Network marketing was built on relationships and people cultivating these relations. It has never been about getting every single person to purchase what you have. Yes, you may have the best product or the best compensation plan around, but all that does not matter. You see, if you try offering someone something that you THINK they need, but they think otherwise, they will not be interested in it. For example, let’s say family A lives a very comfortable lifestyle – they earn enough to pay for the bills, go on a holiday every year, and bring their kids to college – Do you think they would be interested in being involved with this industry? Maybe… but my guess is most likely not.

Why Network Marketing Is Killing Itself…

To add to that, there are so many people in this industry that are self-sabotaging it and killing it every single day. Have you ever been taught to put down another MLM company to “prove” that your company is the better one? That you company has a better payout and a better product that a competing company? Because I have, and I have never felt right doing that. Whatever you do is merely a reflection of who you are, if you are putting down another company then you are really bringing down the name of your company and yourself.

It doesn’t end there! There are so many people in this industry who are doing that, trying to pull people from other companies to join them in their opportunity. What does an outsider, who is considering to join the industry see? All they see is a bunch of people, shooting themselves in the foot, being in a messed up environment. Do you think that person would want to join the industry after seeing all of these? Do you see Pepsi and Coke putting each other down or do you see MacDonalds talking about Burger King having lousy burgers? Do their staff talk about that when you are at the counter looking to order something? I haven’t had that experience with that, but maybe you have…

Why Network Marketing Can Be Saved

Not all hope has been lost because you are reading this message of mine. A message of mine to help save this industry from the reputation that it has given itself, and the people that have made it into what is it today… There is still hope, and that hope lies within you. What we need to do today is to start coming together, regardless of what company we are all from and supporting one another. We have to start educating every person that comes into the industry for the first time the right way.. and even the “veterans” who do not truly understand it.

Yes, we have to teach people why network marketing is not about the money, but building and forming relationships. We need to come together and support ANYONE who has taken the leap of faith to come into this industry to create the lifestyle that they want, and not that of someone else. Support the people around you who have chosen to take this path of uncertainty, because they are just like you, making that exact same choice.

Remember why network marketing is heading towards its doom, and why YOU can make a difference to it. We are the evangelists, and we need to spread the word of what it truly means to be a networker, what it truly means to care for someone and what it truly means to support someone else despite being in separate situations. In doing so, we will not only save the industry from going where it is headed, but to make it one of the best industries to be in. It all starts with each and every single one of us, and we have to be willing to make a difference.
