The DIRTY Truth About My Lead System Pro…

My Lead System Pro. The 7-Figure network system and all these other systems that teach you how to get leads will NEVER make you successful.

Yes, I’ve said it. It is not going to make you a leader in the network marketing or Internet marketing industry. Before you go on and debate this issue with me, I would like you to look at it from my point of view.

The Dirty Truth About My Lead System Pro

If you have NEVER wondered what the true purpose of these lead-marketing systems are, it is about personal branding. You have probably heard this a million times, but do you really know the true meaning? If you have been online long enough (or short enough), you will come to realize when ever you stumble upon someone’s landing page or Facebook – You know immediately they are from My Lead System Pro or using the 7-figure networker system.

How then can you differentiate yourself from everyone out there who is using the same system as you are? How can you get people to watch the videos on your landing page when the moment they know you are promoting these systems, they just close the window? IMPOSSIBLE right?

Let me tell you the secret to how you use this system to your advantage! I am in the process of it, and I wish to share this information with anyone who reads this blog as to what I am doing. Note: I have not completed doing it and am in the process, don’t take my word for it – but think about it. Recently, Cedrick Harris stopped promoting My Lead System Pro and started coming up with his OWN SYSTEM called the IMToolSuite. I hope you see where I’m going!

Pushing Yourself Away From The Crowd

The only way for you to be successful as more people sign up for My Lead System Pro and other lead generating systems is to pull yourself AWAY from the crowd. Sure, you can continue promoting the system but you need to make these changes.

  1. You want to start creating your own landing pages! (I wouldn’t waste time here trying to figure out how to create them, but instead outsource it – you could probably get a decent looking page for $20)
  2. Alter the messages in your auto-responder. Just like blogging, you need to have your own language. Leaving your auto-responder messages un-altered means your leads are not receiving emails from you in your language.
  3. Create a COMPELLING OFFER. I’m sure you have that compelling offer from My Lead System Pro. You’ve got the FREE webinar recordings right? NO! You are wrong! You want to create something of your own! Perhaps not in the very beginning… but over time, you want to be able create your own product be it an interview or a webinar series. The more you are able to move towards this direction, the higher the rates of success you are going to experience as you STAND OUT!

My third point is perhaps the most important one you need to understand right now if you really want your business to succeed. You need to be able to DIFFERENTIATE yourself from the crowd, and the only way you are going to do it is to STOP doing what everyone else is doing. Pick up the marketing skills from My Lead System Pro, in fact TRAIN your team to use it! Everyone needs to understand the fundamentals of marketing online and My Lead System Pro has a great amount of resources for that!

Start Now!

So start taking action and coming up with ideas you can implement in the future to really position yourself as a LEADER. I wish you all the best of luck and if you appreciate this post, please do SHARE it! :)

P.S Do share your thoughts with me on what you think about My Lead System Pro if you using it too!

    Hi Darren,

I think you’re right on the money here. At this time I’m still using MLSP, but have already seen the vision that you’ve shared here.

The thing is with any of these systems, you’re ultimately building their businesses more than your own.

MLSP has a powerful training resource and is a virtually ‘ready-to-go’ start up system for the beginner, but as you become experienced enough to piece it together yourself, the crutch can be dropped.

I’ll be dropping it once I have had enough time to put together my own autoresponder series. As you say, capture pages production can be outsourced easily.

Nice work, great to read your thoughts on this.
    All the best,
    Jym

      Hey Jym!

Your post ended up in my spam somehow, but it’s definitely not! :) Thanks for visiting me over in my “home”!

Great to see that you’re using MLSP and learning from it. I am also currently in the process of editing the autoresponder series to make it more valuable. I feel that a lot more value can be built into it as it seems a little spammish to me still. The great thing about it is this, get the topic they talk about in their autoresponder and really build on the information they have shared in your own language so that people feel that it’s coming from you and not a commercialized messaged. This is what will set you apart from the crowd out there who are also using the system.

I personally feel that the system offers more of an educational resource on what people are doing out there that is working currently. Get that idea, build on it, tweak it – DIFFERENTIATE YOURSELF. That’s the true way we should be doing it!

Thanks for commenting and I hope to see you soon! :)

    Hi Darren,

You are right on target with this. You can use an online marketing system to get you started and to EDUCATE YOURSELF in the beginning, but the idea is to wean yourself off the system and into your own marketing strategies as soon as possible.

We train mostly Part Time Networkers (those people also working a full or part time job), and we always tell them that it’s okay to start with a system like Carbon Copy PRO or MLSP and to learn from their vast trainings as much as possible.

Then, as you said, the key is to take that knowledge and use it to set yourself apart from the herd.

Great post, Darren… I’ll be back here often!

      Hey Dr. Bob!

Pleasure seeing you here on my blog!!! :) We all have different learning curves and I must say that any system out there definitely accommodates to the different curves out there. The best reason why any should remain in the system is because of the education and resources they have inside for anyone to access.

I must mention that however, knowledge remains nothing but knowledge until it is applied. Then is when, it is worth much more and yes, people need to understand the system, learn from it, apply it – and pull themselves away from being just part of the system.

Thanks for your comment and visiting my blog! :)

    Hi Darren,

Your suggestion to “start now” and begin noting ideas for one’s own product is helpful. I have resisted making my own info product because it seems there is already more than enough information available. But I understand branding.

One way that ANYONE can stand out from the crowd, even before they make their own product, is to become sincerely interested in others and what they have to say. Good listeners are in short supply and big demand, and in the free market the ratio of supply to demand is key.

In attracting relationships it is even more effective to be interested than to be interesting.

      Hey Buddy!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, definitely appreciate it. It’s time to figure out how to get your own information product out then! :) It is going to be the factor that puts you out from the rest of the 90% of people out there who do not have a product attached to their name and it’s going to position you in a better position. I do hope you get that idea soon! :)

I definitely agree with you on the point that we really need to be interested in what other people have to say. Dale Carnegie mentions that the people who are greatest at conversations are not the ones who talk the most, but rather engage the other person into talking a lot (such that they dont talk much.) So truth be told, the lesser you are doing the talking, the greater you are being at creating conversations!

Thanks for dropping by and I hope to see you soon! :)

    Hi Darren,

I paid fifty bucks to find out what MLSPro was about. I can’t really comment on how good or bad it is. What I did discover was that it would be another network marketing business for me if I continued, and I really have not got time for another. I really don’t have enough time for the one I’ve got. Good luck in your efforts!

    Lou

    • Darren Spruyt says:

      Hey Loud,

Thanks for dropping by. MLSP is different in the sense that it works on an affiliate model (you only get paid one level down), however network marketing models are an extension of the affiliate model where you get paid a few levels down. The system is best for people starting out on the internet and do not have an idea on what to do – if you have advanced beyond that level, it would be my recommendation to go out on your own and start creating products/system.

Do drop by soon and it was my pleasure connecting with you! :)

    Hey Darren,

You raised a valid point about creating one’s content. I believe that should be done.

And that should be done when like Harris you have patiently learnt the ins and outs of how a system works.

You can start though be having capture pages etc like you suggested and being dedicated to it.

    Thanks for sharing!

      Hey Tosin!

That’s what I’m talking about. What MLSP and even the 7-figure networker system is all about is really not a new idea. It has become really popular within the past couple of years but was really an idea Mike Dillard had for his Traffic Formula problem. They just took what they learnt and translated it into a product, which made things so much easier for everyone to get onto and apply it.

As we all tend to take things for granted, most people do not see the idea behind the system and tend to get stuck in it themselves. However, it is really a good strategy for attaining a source of revenue in the short-run as most new networkers take time to figure out what to do when starting out.

Thanks for your comment and I hope to see you soon! :)

    Hey Darren,

You are absolutely 100% correct with pulling away from the crowd. I know that a lot of people have problems with this because they still are new and don’t know how to do this yet. But if you take what you learn from these systems and apply that to your own business, everything will start falling into place.

I had the privilege of meeting Brian and Norbitt as well as Cedrick at a conference last year. All great guys in their own right. And, they took what they had learned and applied it to their own business and look where they are now! Tada…

Thanks for sharing this with us. I know it will help a lot of other people still trying to figure this all out.

Darren, aloha. WOW! You knocked it out of the park with this post. You are absolutely correct that people need to stand out from the crowd.

Whether I am looking for a mentor or someone to give me advice, I want that person who stands on their own–someone who brands himself and his work rather than a Me Too person.

With outsourcing, Darren, it is so easy and inexpensive to have someone do capture pages & content for you. A person must know the material well enough that they can lay it out for someone to create the needed items.

    Well said, Darren. Aloha. Janet

    • Darren Spruyt says:

      Hello Janet!
I hope I hit a home-run with this post then! :) There’s definitely a lot of me-toos popping out everywhere, or I’ve begun to notice them much more. The truth is that the more popular MLSP becomes, there’s going to be more marketing around it and people see the same message where ever they go!

This becomes an issue as they know what it is immediately and just close the window without taking a look, and yes! Everybody wants to work with someone who has proven to be unique and special in their own way… Be true to the person that you are and you will become an attractor.

I’ve been doing a lot of outsourcing lately and I must say I’ve been getting excellent results (and not mention cheap prices). Good point you made there in know what you want well enough. You got to know what want so that you are able to translate your ideas to the person you are outsourcing to. I would definitely attribute to my success in getting great results from outsourcing my ideas lately to the fact that I am able to visualize what I want exactly and lay it out for the people I am interviewing for the job posting.

Looking forward to your next visit Janet! Thanks for dropping by once again.

    Hi Darren,

What a lovely chance to get re-connected with you through the CM forum :-) How’s everything in the US? I am just happy to see you back online and I congratulate you for working on your business while studying at the same time! That’s a tough balance to make!

You raised some very important points, Darren. I can’t agree with you more on the ‘education’ part. I believe that if I were a total newbie, and if I haven’t discovered the great mentoring system I am a part of now, I’ll definitely join the MLSP/JB’s club, or other systems for their marketing training.

The only thing which I’ve expressed so many times now, is my take on pushing for the affiliate income from these systems. Synonymous to what you said that people tend to immediately close the window once they get familiar with all these systems, I firmly believe that I am a network marketer, not an affiliate marketer. So if I were using this system now, it would be purely for education, and not for affiliate income.

Congratulations for making this decision of not being dependent on these systems, and actually being different from the crowd. Keep us posted about your progress in developing your strategy with maximizing the use of your current system!

Thanks again for sharing and I’ll see you around!

      Hey Rowena!

I need to find a better way to reply to messages.. haha. I wouldn’t say I am not dependent on these systems.. but rather I am promoting them as a way to work with people who are already in a company and are just looking to produce more leads for their business online. This gives me the opportunity to mentor and coach people regardless of where they are from and I believe that it is great just to be able to assist people and see them succeed. This would also help me establish myself in the industry and allowing more people to approach me and work with them!

I’m definitely having lots of fun networking in the States and have more than half a year to go, to learn and meet more people. Do keep in touch!

  9. Brandon Wraith says:

Hey Darren, you are definitely right on the money with this. It is kind of ironic that these programs tell you that they teach you to brand yourself, but most of the people who actually buy into it don’t even try. Going around promoting all of these capture pages for these affiliate programs can take away credibility from yourself (which can be hard to build back up because once it’s on the internet, it is there). Like you said, if someone writes a very grabbing article or somehow hooks you to go to their link and you see it is MLSP or MS, they will just close the page because chances are, they have already been pitched on hit many many times.

    Great post, a must read.

How’s it going my friend? That’s what happens when people do not see the true purpose of why things were made in the first place. After all, most people tend to take the easy way – in this case, it’s just to copy and paste everything that they already have. Why do the extra work when it’s done for you right? Of course, that’s where the repercussions of inaction set in and only the people who choose to set themselves out to be different from the rest become successful.

    Darren,

Systems are great. But when you’re one of many who is regurgitating the same system and free resources to the public, you won’t stand out. You’re right.

Differentiation (or USP) is an absolute must. The digital landscape is littered with “me too” acts; you have to be the clear signal among the noise.

I don’t have a problem with the landing page (general layout/concept) of that product. In fact, I’d use the same layout for a product release of my own. The difference is, I’d be releasing my own product and I’d be standing behind it 100% in support and my video would be less gimmicky and more benefit driven ;)

    Thanks,

Woo.. Coming up with your own product is definitely one level higher my friend and that’s the way to go! I have ideas for a couple of products that I currently wish to develop and either sell/giveaway online.

You are definitely setting yourself apart from the rest of the people out there! I believe the main issue may have come in because people sign up for the systems hoping that it will all be done for them, and they
just do the bare minimum to try and achieve results – Most of the time ending up in attrition. Sounds awesome dude! If you ever have a product, be sure to inform me! I’ll be glad to check it out! :)

I completely agree with you. I’ve been building my marketing funnel since I started taking “focused” action online last June.

The business in a box systems can be very helpful when someone is just getting started and learning how to market online, but I’d look at it more as a training system rather than a success system.

I am enjoying the process of building my marketing funnel, and just this last week learned of Cedrick’s new system. I’ve signed up and I’m looking forward to playing with it and learning more.

Thank you for your leadership and your wonderful post!

Ultimately, it’s all about taking action as there’s always too much information out there and we need to balance action taking and learning.
