3 Reasons Why Visiting Blogs Will Help Your Business TODAY
Hey everyone, as the festive season approaches I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas to you and all your families! I appreciate you taking the time to drop by my blog and read my posts.
It has definitely been a pleasure of mine to be able to provide you with valuable content, and I do hope to commit to doing that in the long run. So do leave me a message if you ever need any help with any topics related to social media, mindset or Internet marketing!
Now, let’s move on to the main content right now! Recently, I’ve been visiting blogs to build my business and I’ve realized that it is indeed very crucial for anyone who wants to build their presence online. So why? Here are my reasons!
1. Backlinks
Firstly, if you have been marketing online for a while and you have your own blog, you know you need to build links back to your site. The more links you build to your site, the more credibility you develop with Google. Every time you visit a blog and leave your comment, you create a link with that site! (Now you want to make sure you are commenting on a DoFollow blog or you won’t be scoring much points with Google here!) So that’s the simplest reason, to build more links to your site so that you build credibility with Google and get to rank higher on your keywords on the search engines.
2. Building Relationships
Secondly, and very importantly as I have been focusing on my previous posts such as my last one here. You want to make sure you focus on others and build a relationship with them. You want to read the blog posts that an author has written (After all, they have taken the time and effort to write these posts) and comment with your thoughts and what you LIKED ABOUT THEIR POST. This lets the author know you appreciate their efforts and lets the author know WHO YOU ARE, and in turn LIKE YOU. This is very crucial in relationship building. Another reason why you want to be doing this is simple, people tend to return favors. If you take the time and effort to read and comment on their posts, they will do the same for you! I have found this to be very true indeed!
3. Creative Juices
Lastly, this has got to be an amazing reason why you want to visit blogs TODAY! It’s going to help YOU with your CREATIVE JUICES. The more blogs you visit, the more IDEAS you are going to get for your own blog! Reading through the posts, you are going to have your own opinions and thoughts on their topics and in turn, you can write this down on your own blog! Now you can’t say that you have a writer’s block if you are reading blogs and getting ideas from others on what to write about! Put it simple, the more blogs you visit and read, the more ideas you are going to develop for your own blog. Ideas have been popping up in my head ever so much lately with my frequent blog visits, so use it to your advantage!
Once again, I hope this post will encourage you to go out and start visiting those blogs and commenting on them. A word of caution though! Comment with value and not for the sake of establishing real value. Most blogs today require your comments to be approved and if you’re not value-commenting, your comments are most likely not going to be approved.
I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas once again and look forward to my next blog post!

Darren Spruyt

Hi Darren,
Super advice here. As you note writer’s block disappears when you’re a “blog lizard.” No lack of inspiration.
I visit a high number of blogs daily. I make sure to treat my comments like content: header, body and conclusion.
The benefits of visiting blogs are so great I see it as a no brainer for any serious online entrepreneur.
Thanks for sharing your insight

I like where you are going with this idea. I like number 3 the best where by reading blogs, you get more ideas for your own blog.
How can you go wrong? You get ideas for your blog, you build relationships and you also build links back to your own blog.
This is a win-win if I ever saw one.
Thanks for the post, it was short, sweet and to the point.

I strongly agree with the whole thing. Blogging helps to build up business profile on the web in a good way if you project yourself well as one who is very helpful, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable in your field of expertise.
I’m sorry I’m late here. I include you on my list now. Thanks.

Hi Darren,
Great content. I agree with all your points especially building a relationship. I do have a question, what is a DoFollow blog and how do you know?
Thanks

Great question Tom! I’m sure you would love this blog post by one of my friends.. do check out her blog too!
Basically you want to get backlinks from DoFollow blogs as they have a higher credit rating with Google so it helps you if you want to rank you site organically.
